I hired 1776 Caregiving for one week to provide companion care for my mother in a memory care facility. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.<br><br>One caregiver left my mother sitting in her own urine for hours without assistance. Another refused to feed her until I stepped in. A third caregiver, Kathi, was rude, easily overwhelmed, and became aggressive—raising her voice in front of my mother and me before walking out mid-shift. This caused significant distress for my mom.<br><br>When management got involved, they showed little empathy or accountability and instead encouraged me to cancel services, which I ultimately did, due to unacceptable level of care.<br><br>I can confidently say my mother received worse care with this service than without it. I would strongly urge others to use caution when considering this company.
