They're very attentive to my aunt, they clean, sit when it's time to be with her. Maybe a little more food choices should be an option for the patients n also a little more company when they see a little loneliness starting to appear in them. But my aunt says they are there when her time is with them.

I was placed here shortly after my 3 hip surgery.. I am so grateful for the compassion all the staff . The nurses and the CNA Case workers and the amazing physical therapy staff . The made me feel like family . I unfortunately was so far from home I didn't have family near by. And they made sure that I felt welcome safe and attentive to my needs . Cindy Ligia Isabel( mom ) Isabel ( Daughter) Vincent Bella Angel Samantha and so many more Thank you so much. I will be back after my next surgery by request. The last facility I was in was absolutely horrible So I can compare. And York is 100 times better. See you all in about 6 weeks. .

If you are looking for a rehab center where the staff actually cares about the person and not just the patient, York Healthcare and Wellness Center is the place. My mother came here for post-knee replacement recovery, and the team truly became her support system.
The facility might be older, but the hearts of the people working there are gold. We were so impressed by:
• The Nursing Care: Cynthia, Isabel, Lydia, and the entire nursing/CNA team were beyond patient. They treated my mom with such dignity and kept her comfortable during a very painful time.
• The Rehab Pros: Maggie, Fermin, and Elias are a powerhouse PT team! They knew exactly how to motivate her to get moving again, balancing expertise with genuine encouragement.
• The Personal Touches: Even Chef Carlos went out of his way to be kind and accommodating with her meals, which made a huge difference in her spirits.
What really stood out to me was the communication. From Alejandra (social worker) to Jane at the front desk and Adrian in administration, I was constantly kept in the loop on her progress. Every department felt completely synced up and invested in the recovery process. Thank you to everyone at York for getting my mom back on her feet!
