I enjoy being here and being able to hang out with my friends. We get to go to Walmart sometimes and get things we need. My brother is also here and we get to see each other every daym we get our nails manicured and painted quite often. I love and miss my kids and grandkids. Wish we had a different variety of food available but glad we have snacks. I have been here 5 years and do not plan on going anywhere.

Yazoo health and rehab (OASIS) is a place you take your loved ones to pass away quicker... Yes they have deplorable conditions, half cleaned sheets, patients are put in double diapers to keep from changing every two hours. the staff are a joke, leadership is a joke lazy supervisors who get paid for NOTHING 1st floor supervisor Shavonda Mcgee was at the desk i asked her can i have ice for my mother she walked right past the ice chest and said she would find an aid instead of getting it herself. Heather minchew the administrator is a total joke, she allows the behavior of looking the other way while patients are ignored and abused... Left in urine soaked diapers, one patient a male, was not fed his food and i could hear & see them asking who was supposed to feed him , other patients were not turned, my mother and her roommate being two of those patients. while in the room with my mother for 4 hours nobody checked on her or the other patient in her room ..i asked for help twice none came i went on to change my mother and the roommate and didn't ask for anything more that visit. So many visits i noticed something else wrong time and time again over the 8 month period i saw things that would make you think this nursing home should not be open or ran by the people in charge. The patients are just a number and a check $ that is all. If you have family at yazoo health rehab (oasis) remove them if you can!! The 5 stars and good ratings have to be rigged .. I saw three ratings from employees.. one administrator heather minchew, Robin McAllister, and Tammy Mccallister all employed, and known to be currently employed at the nursing home yazoo health and rehab... I have seen state come in the building 3 times each time they don't find anything... there is a cover up going on how can they not see wrong or hear any patients complaining! Don't walk run from this place!!!!!And may god help those dear helpless patients. AMEN

My mother was a admitted here for therapy and enjoyed everything about her stay. She thought that the staff was friendly and helpful and that therapy really helped her to get moving again. She is home now but would absolutely have no issues returning if she needs to in the future.
