My dad lived out his last days there neglected, ignored, abused, not fed like he was supposed to be, fought with him, manhandled him, never explained his bruises, he was not treated like the great, loved, admired respected man he DESERVED and I do not care what they say. Actually if this had a place for 0 stars, that's what I would grade it. A 0!!!

Every time we go there the atmosphere is nice. The staff is kind. To the house keep Bridget on Saturday thank you for all your help.

I had a very positive experience with Winfield Healthcare Nursing Home. The facility is always clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Shay, who went above and beyond to make sure my relative was well taken care of. Her compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference. I appreciate the care and support provided by the entire team.

My God sister just got discharged from Winfield facility on Idaho St in New Orleans..in one month she only got 2 baths, her request for asst was ignored( she is of sound mind, and in no way disoriented,).they did not know that she worked over 30 yrs in Healthcare. She witnessed several staff administering meds to her that were not for her...when she advised the staff that she wld not take it because it hadn't been prescribed for her, she was told "ok and I'll just say you refused....many of the beds had no bed rails so to avoid falling, she had to sleep on her back for a month....now upon discharge she is trying to fight the beginning of a bedsore. While in the facility, she called several times to the nursing station for assistance, and was told, "It's after midnight, why aren't you asleep"?..in addition, she only got a diaper change once daily, and was told by a nurse, that her diaper was not heavily soiled and she could use it a couple of more times before it was changed!!!..the treatment was appalling and horrible and and I have advised her to seek legal assistance, and call OSHA!... if these accusations are correct, animals get better care in a veterinarian hospital

Winfield has a wonderful physical therapy and rehab staff. Personally, I think ALL nursing homes need more nursing/nursing assistant staff! They do they best they can with what they have. Takes a big heart ❤️ too do what y'all do day in and day out
