The quality here at this community has gone downhill over the years. Food, Service and Especially with the medical care the residents receive. Beforehand nurses used to respond if there was an issue such as a fall. Now they dont. Instead they just send a security officer. Staffing for the nurses is also a issue. With there being times where one nurse will be running 2 or more households. When its suppose to be atleast 1 nurse PER household. Portions for the dinners have gone down as well as the price of the food has gone up. They have increased fees for transportation as well leaving the residents concerned with the direction the campus is going. These issues have been brought up with all the heads of this campus.The number of times I've been told things would they looked into and addressed. It has been asked of them to inform the Heads of the Corporation before. Its still uncertain if the Corporation heads of the Company in Pennsylvania know of these issues and if they are being addressed or ever brought up to them. It seems like this community is ran differently compared to other Acts communities ive visited. Especially with the independent living care.

Indian River Estates is a wonderful place to live. We have a beautiful campus and so many things to do to keep your mind and body active- sports, fitness activities, entertainment, educational programs, music and arts. And the medical care is top notch. But the best part are the people- from all walks of life and backgrounds. We have formed priceless friendships. Don’t wait! Come visit.

This place exceeds my expectations. The grounds are amazing, the staff is like family, and the units are out of this world. I suggest if you're thinking about planning for your future, and having everything taken care of for you - this is the place. Take a tour and you'll see what I'm talking about!
