If you have a veteran in need of a place to feel at home this is it. Boating, fishing and all in all a wonderful complex. You can access the other buildings through the underground tunnels and tugs will pull you around if walking is difficult. A beautiful veteran home. I believe currently around 600 veterans are there but that's what I heard.

They need Board Certifed Chaplains! Our Veterans deserve better! Chaplains abilites on some levels are lacking. Most facilities hire Board Certified Chaplains. Review upgraded as since the last review King has improved greatly in this area!

We visited my husband's uncle who is living in Moses Hall at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King in September. What an amazing facility! The residents look content, the staff are professional and caring, the building is very clean and modern, and the grounds are well-maintained. Regarding the staff, everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and respectful of the residents' comfort and well-being. We would especially like to thank 4th floor staff Annette, Jessica, Magali, and supervisor Lisa for their help during our visit.
