Horrible place. Refused to wear masks during covid and wrote in my mother's chart "Alzheimer's getting worse." everyday for 3 years--even though my mother did not have Alzheimer's and was clearly a stroke patient.

I’m not an actual resident or have a loved one at Wheatland Manor, but I’ve worked with Michael and Angie for the last year and I found them to be amazing! I would recommend this senior living community to anybody because I know that they care.

My wife was a victim of a botched gall bladder surgery and spent 118 days in the hospital much of it in intensive care. She nearly died 5 times and was very de-conditioned and extremely weak when she arrived at Wheatland Manor on August 14. Multiple hospitals with types of care I had seen it all and I had faint hope this place could get her back on her feet again and allow her to come home. She arrived there having not being out of bed or walking for 118 days. The staff from nurses, CNA's,therapists to dietary people, maintenance people and everyone that worked in the building jumped in to give her the best care possible. They also provided all the encouragement she needed to give her hope she could walk again. It was tough and long but she came home November 23. Several other hospitals had given up and said it would not happen. I could not begin to give this place anything but the highest marks for how everyone worked together to make it all happen. My highest praise to the entire staff for making what seemed impossible come true. We had had such horrible experiences in the past with other nursing home- skilled care facilities with relatives we were fearful this would be a repeat. I hope anyone who has doubts about where to place a loved one for the best care would give Wheatland Manor a chance to give you the best care possible.
