My experience with this facility was extremely disturbing. The building looks neglected and poorly maintained, and the conditions inside are unacceptable for a place that is supposed to care for vulnerable individuals. There was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the facility. I personally observed cockroaches crawling on the floors and inside drawers, water leaking and dripping from the ceiling, sections of damaged or missing ceiling, and a nonfunctioning air conditioner in the room. Beyond the physical conditions, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of attention and professionalism I witnessed. During my visit, no staff member approached us to provide an update on my family members condition. I also observed staff members walking past residents without appearing to check on them, as well as staff arguing with one another. This facility is described as a nursing and rehabilitation center, yet what I witnessed left me seriously questioning the quality of care, supervision, sanitation, and overall safety provided to its residents. People living in these facilities are often vulnerable and depend on staff to protect their health, dignity, and well-being. They deserve a clean, safe, properly maintained environment and attentive care. Based on what I personally observed, I have serious concerns about whether this facility is meeting those basic expectations. I believe these conditions warrant an immediate investigation by the appropriate authorities. No one should have to live in these conditions, especially people who depend on others for their care.
