I am from Texas. I ended up in the ER the night before my flight home with an abdominal obstruction. I knew what it was. I knew the pain and yet the doctors waited four days to do surgery. CNA’s all So lazy never on time! Some of the nurses RNs I wish I knew their names were good. Some of them would tell me to wait and call my own nurse and not attend to my knees. Very! Very! Disappointed! The process the hospital took on moving me out getting me out of bed was very very slow. So disappointed!! But God is good! God pulled me through and God got me back home to Texas. I praise my Lord and I do thank the doctor for finally doing the surgery.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! I went into the hospital with severe back pain. The pain I was experiencing was worse than child labor, and the doctor gave me Tylenol and said they don’t give opiates at that hospital, which I found very odd. As a nurse, I’ve never heard of a hospital that doesn’t give patients with severe pain opioids when deemed necessary. The doctor stated that I had bacteria in my urine, so I believe there may be a possibility that I have a kidney infection. You can imagine how painful that would be. Despite this, I was sent home with a prescription for Tylenol and ibuprofen. I told the doctor that I was still in significant pain even after taking the Tylenol and waiting an hour. Her response was, “Back pain is really hard to treat. It won’t be possible to get you to a 0/10 on the pain scale. This is the best I can do for you at this time.” I don’t understand. I would never come here again due to the lack of due diligence and concern for the patient. This was a horrible experience, and I left feeling like my pain and concerns were not taken seriously.
