Our lives initially changed 4 years ago when we moved our 88 year old dad to the independent living side of this amazing place! He had suffered from a stroke 6 weeks earlier and thrived in the care of the WSLC staff until it was time to move him to the assisted living side. He LOVED all the special attention he received there for 2.5 years and just passed on 11/2/22 in the great care and love surrounding him in his comfortable private apartment. We are his 5 kiddos, all living in different states except #1 son in Warroad. We never worried about dad not getting great care because this staff always went above and beyond! They welcomed the 5 of us as their family and cared for us also during our darkest hours. Our deepest gratitude goes to the entire team from Betsy’s first meeting with us in October 2018, to Rochelle guiding us through Hospice and comfort care and on to every CNA in the wing ~ especially Lori, Taylor, Joanne, Cindy, Tanya, Kelly, Josh, Ryan, Trista and whomever I may have forgotten! We thank you and love you all! Stay well, y’all! The Ken Marsh family

What a GRAND facility. And the staff are A+ . I could only HOPE to come here when I get older. Food is fantastic, beautiful rooms, and architecture. Lots to do! Well managed, and full of life. I would never worry for a minute if I had to place my loved one here. The residents, are family, collectively, and are treated with the upmost respect and compassion. This IS their home.
