Before my mom moved into Walnut Home Care, she had been living at a high end, resort style, senior living facility. She was 90 years old at that time, and her overall health was poor, suffering for years from severe edema that caused open sores on her legs. Within a couple months of living at Walnut Home Care, her edema was gone. I attribute her recovery to great food, with home grown ingredients, made with care. That’s how my experience with Walnut Home Care started and it only got better from there.

My mom lived at Walnut Home Care for another 6 years before she passed away at age 96. She loved living there. I visited my mom frequently and I always found my mom well cared for. On those visits, the staff were always accommodating and made us feel welcome. The owners have high standards, and are directly involved with daily care and they worked well with my mom’s doctor. They’re not only professional, but it’s obvious they really care about the residents.

The bottom line is that if you want your loved one to be in a safe, tranquil environment where they’re treated like family by people you can trust, choose Walnut Home Care. It’s a beautiful house, impeccably maintained with a beautiful back yard, great food, and caring people. I feel lucky that we found them.
