Went for an interview, no management showed up, the office was closed. I contacted them and received an unfriendly reply. Unbelievable.. If a company acts defensively when being called out on their mistakes, I'd stay clear of them and definitely wouldn't sign a contract with them. Read reviews from different areas of Pennsylvania. Some have gotten good teviews, some areas report exactly what I just reported here.

I don’t usually give poor reviews, but this company has really caused me grief. My husband employed them in early 2024 to give me a few hours respite from caring for him. He has since passed away from Parkinsons. The care was ok, but the last day he had scheduled was cancelled within the required time frame. Somehow the message from one office to the other didn’t get there and he was charged. Months of insisting that the call was in time, they finally stopped billing. Today, over a year post the date in question, here is an invoice for $186 to my deceased husband. Who thinks this is fair treatment for a widow? It was wrong to start with and just gets worse with time. Visiting something, but I wouldn’t say angels.

We used Visiting Angels to assist with caring for my elderly father and had a wonderful experience. His caretaker, Kim, was remarkable. She was so attentive to all of his needs and assisted with a multitude of tasks that had become difficult for him to do on his own. She was also very organized in seeing that his medications were taken care of and scheduling as well as transporting him to his physicians appointments, shopping etc. If it were not for Kim, he would not have been able to stay in his home and be as independent as he wanted. Living out of state, I was always kept in the loop with regards to my father's needs and health condition by either Kim or the Visiting Angels administrative staff. Tami, the Director and Dawn the scheduler were always available, friendly and helpful whenever I required assistance. Their professionalism and care for the clients and their families is top-notch. When it came time to have my father transition to hospice, they were still there to help assist me with my father and would continue to keep in contact with me throughout the process. I had utilized other care agencies when my mother was ill and none of them could compare to Visiting Angels. I will always be grateful for the excellent care my father was given by every member of Visiting Angels and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of assistance in taking care of a family member.

Visiting Angels have been so helpful taking care of mom. I know she is safe at home while I'm at work. The care giver always leaves a note so I know what happened each day.

The support and care we received were incredible. From our first time contact, to the conclusion of our relationship we experienced the utmost professionalism and dedication to serving our needs. The entire staff are well educated regarding care in all aspects and helped us to better understand what our parents were experiencing. We are very grateful these exceptional people are available in the Greensburg/Westmoreland area.
