Visiting Angels has accommodated my mom’s out patient rehabilitation schedule and my working schedule (rotating 12hr shifts) with their home health aides. They were able to find a great match via personality and the needs for my mom through her post stroke journey.

Visiting Angels was hired to care for my 94 year old Mother who was suffering with dementia. The initial interview went well and we thought they would be a great fit, we couldn’t have been more mistaken. Constant callouts, “caregivers” didn’t even bother to read the guidelines and requests me and my wife left written down for them to review each day. Most of them came off as angry or intimidating to me mother when they spoke loudly as she was hard of hearing. They had no experience with sundowning or other symptoms of dementia. They let my mom walk on her own which was not allowed and was specified upon hiring. They didn’t engage in communication with her as 98% just left my mother alone on the couch or porch and stayed buried in their phones. One caregiver abruptly left in the middle of a shift without explanation and then called to police to say I was abusing my mother (I was speaking loudly so she could hear me). They sent back employees that we had requested not to return. When they arrived for night shifts they would just pull their hoodie over their head and sleep instead of watching mom on the video monitor we set up for them. This was all captured on video and reported with no outcome or repercussions. They spoke unprofessionally and condescending towards me and my wife and even complained about the cat I had gotten as a companion for my mother. LISTEN CLOSELY. If you love and care for your family member DO NOT hire these “caregivers” and allow them in your home. I hired them to help me while I was in recovery from a liver transplant and I ended up doing more than they did. My trust in them cost me nothing but stress and misery…and thousands of dollars I didn’t have to throw away after my hospital bills. If I could give them a zero I would.

Kristina Cropper was an amazing Visiting Angel for my late wife Patricia in 2025/2026. She showed great care and concern for my wife who was suffering from terminal brain cancer. Kristina was knowledgeable and helpful in administering her care and my wife looked forward to her visits to our home. It was a great experience for the family.
