Visiting angels of Gresham helped us immensely during the last year of my mother’s life. They provided excellent companionship and assisted in her P.T. exercises and gave us a chance to do chores and go on errands. They were with us right up through her hospice care here at home. Their staff showed compassion and kindness and helped my mother and us to the end of her life.

Visiting Angels have been assisting with the care of my grandparents for about two years now. I can say with confidence that they can and will go out of their way to meet your needs. The office staff are just great people to work with. When my grandmother had a fall and needed 24 hour care, they worked amazingly hard and made it happen. When, recently, my grandmother passed the emotion and caring were real. Currently, my grandfather has staff there during the day to help him and keep him company. The match is amazing; he truly enjoys the caregivers and looks forward to them showing up. I honestly cannot recommend the company enough.

My stepmother received very compassionate care from the Visiting Angels staff who were working with her. They also were so supportive of my father, as they were present when my stepmother passed away, and helped provide comfort to him also. The entire experience from the initial intake visit, communication to the office, and the staff, was top rate. It was a pleasure working with Visiting Angels.

We signed up with Visiting Angels for weekend respite, so we could have a companion for my grandmother (who has dementia). Though my grandmother was not compliant to having them in her home and it ultimately failed, it was no fault of Visiting Angels. Everyone we met in the Gresham location was fantastically and genuinely kind, from Karen who initially signed us up, the friendly and sweet receptionists who took our calls, to the two wonderful ladies who tried their best to calm my grandmother down and the owner Monica, who bent over backwards to build trust with my grandmother in her best effort to make respite care work. Everyone was professional (punctual!, competent, understanding, kind), I have nothing but utmost appreciation and respect for this location of Visiting Angels in Gresham. Considering how expensive in-home care is, Visiting Angels is reasonable compared to many others. I would not hesitate to recommend them, they are a fantastic business full of compassionate and competent people who you can trust with your aging family members. Thank you Visiting Angels!!! Your compassion and kindness will stay with me always.

Had a great experience with Visiting Angels. We used their service for a number of months they kept in regular contact even calling if poor weather snow/ice might cause interruption of service. We used 2 different caregivers the first we replaced after a short time. The office was responsive to what we wished. There wasn't a problem with this caregiver beyond personalities didn't gel well with mom.. Angels changed our caregiver right away. Ruth, our second caregiver, was fantastic. People where mom lived commented on how good and patient she was with mom when they would meet them together. Highly highly recommend her!. We only left the Angels services as we needed 24/7 full time care. They definitely made our lives easier dealing with moms care. Thanks Angels!
