I took my daughter, Ruby, by ambulance a couple weeks ago. I was hoping for Mat but, got Brenden, he's gotten a lot better, he listened to me and we talked things out of what each other thought and he took very good care of my daughter, brought her back to being able to talk & a lot less throwing up, by the next day she was pretty much back to my old Ruby! Thanks Brenden. Bet he never thought he'd hear that from me.😃

I went in yesterday at 8:30pm (5/24/25) for some issues I had scheduled to be addressed with my family doctor, but could not be seen until this upcoming Wednesday and my symptoms were worsening so I opted to go to the emergency department. Once there, I was taken back to a room relatively quickly, vitals taken, and given a gown. Now, I appreciate medical personnel with all of my heart and I can’t imagine what it’s like to work behind the scenes in the ER, but as I continually waited for an hour and 15 minutes (in the exam room, not the waiting room), my pain got worse and I got continually more anxious while I waited for the provider. It’s one thing to not receive treatment immediately which is fine, but I was left in that room for over an hour with no communication from any of the staff. I would’ve really appreciated anything, someone popping in to apologize for the wait and check on me. I received nothing. When I got to the ER, I was told there was four other patients back there. Again, I don’t know what their routine is like, but in that time span I really feel like I should’ve received some communication and it isn’t my job as the patient to walk up to my door in my gown and ask the staff for some clarification. I truly believe I was forgotten about, I left and I’ll wait to see my doctor on Wednesday. Guess Tylenol and I are best friends until then.
