I have nothing but positives when it comes to Villa Maria. We moved our mom here last December after living through lockdown after lockdown over three years during Covid in a horrid facility in Central Kansas. That facility just couldn't get things under control and apparently didn't use infection control protocols as they should have. They also didn't keep her or her room clean, the food was horrible, the nurses were 100% agency, and they just didn't care about the residents. At Villa Maria the staff are genuinely happy and love their dear people. They help my mom pick out her outfits and jewelry every day. She is clean and her room is clean. There are no foul odors in the hallways or rooms. She has gained 20+ pounds in a year as the quality of food is more pleasing. They have many activities for the residents to choose from. Physical Therapy has a wonderful facility onsite, and are great with the patients. Also, their "shared" rooms are actually more like private rooms and mom tells everyone she has a private room because that is how they are arranged. The facility communicates with me regularly. I talked to over 50 facilities before settling on Villa Maria, which is a non-profit. I feel that is an important element to their great care compared to facilities trying to turn a buck. I am so happy that I placed mom there!

We were very happy with Villa Maria and the care they gave to our father, Ed Brzezinski. Everybody at the facility was so good with him. They made him feel welcomed and comfortable. We were always kept informed and up to date on Dad. We really appreciate all the staff! We would definitely recommend Villa Maria to our family and friends. Thank you for all the kindness.

My mother loves it at Villa Maria. The staff is very nice and professional, delicious meals, spacious rooms, and very clean. The admission process was easy because they walk you through every step. Therapy is helping my mom regain her strength and get back to where she need to be at her age. They also communicate with the family so you always know what is going on. We are both very happy.

They take pretty good care of my grandma but the staff is sometimes a little slow responding when she needs something. They have 2-3 girls for like 8-10 rooms so I understand. I just wish they would be quicker to give her the medicine her hospice has ordered for her to have.

My 89 yr old mom was in two different places for rehab after surgery. This is the nicest place I have ever been. Everyone is very kind, caring, smiling, and such a contrast to the first place. My 93 yr old aunt was placed here also - because of how great it is. Small town, friendly, and the people really care about the residents. Great food, and an open kitchen for 12 hrs a day. Snacks always available, and menu choices are actually delicious. (Family is encouraged to visit, and to dine with the residents at a very small fee.) LOVE this place!
