I recommend this facility for a loved one in need of Memory care. The staff is caring and patient, and my mom was treated with compassion and respect.
The activities for brain stimulation is daily, the food is good and there are special activities where families can get involved with their loved ones to make some memories monthly.

There is not a lot of choices for memory care in our area but this facility is a good choice.

We recently lost our Mom due to Alzheimer’s so now I feel is a good time to leave a review.
My sister and I were so hesitant to put my mom anywhere. But luckily a room became available at this wonderful home. Our Mom became a wanderer so she was placed in a secure area, where she could not escape like she tried to at my home. I was very hesitant at first, since a lot of her personal items was not allowed Once my mom was there I finally understood why. What we realized is there was a reason for everything, and soon we knew she was in the right home. My mom was safe she was cared for and she was loved. I can’t say enough about the staff who goes above and beyond caring for all of the patients there. They definitely put up with a lot and somehow keep going with a smile on their face. Regardless of my mom‘s memory, she knew she was loved. When my sister, myself or my husband couldn’t be there to check in on her we always knew she was in good hands. A lot of the staff became like family and we were so grateful. A lot of laughs a lot of tears. Plus, a lot of great memories.
The activities for these people were amazing. Though my Mom couldn’t partake in some activities she was included to observe and enjoy. In the last few days, all of the staff, were so caring to my sister and I, but especially to my mom. Which made lasting memories. This wonderful caregiving facility has really stepped up its game. And we are ever so grateful.

Horrific place! After only 10 days under their care, my husband was transported to Verde Valley Medical (wearing someone else's clothes as they had taken his clothes away from him and put them in an overflow room). He was severely dehydrated. The dehydration caused acute kidney injury, and eventually, multiple organ system dysfunction. After five days at Verde Valley Medical, he was transferred to a different facility, under hospice care, and died seven days later. I believe that my husband death was due to their neglect.

My wife has stage five Alzheimers and is a current patient in Verde Valley Assisted Living and is being treated very well. The food is well prepared and delicious. They have plenty of activites and road trips for residents. I can take her out and bring her back any time. She never complains and seems happy to be living there.
