The Village is an assisted living and memory care community located in Key Center on the Key Peninsula in Washington. It is the first assisted living project on the Key Peninsula, consisting of three connected homes under one roof, two for assisted living and one for memory care, as part of the Mustard Seed Project.
Assisted living residents receive personalized care including meals, housekeeping, laundry, medication management, on-site hairdressing, and visits from physicians. Each resident has a private room with their own furnishings, a private bathroom, kitchenette, and large opening windows. Memory care is provided using the Green House model, which emphasizes deep respect for individuals and addresses the needs of people living with dementia.
The community is situated on a forested hillside with views of the town and Olympic mountains. It is within walking distance of essential services and a short drive to medical facilities. Residents have the opportunity to choose personalized floor plans that blend comfort, care, and scenic beauty.
The Mustard Seed Project, of which The Village is an integral part, is designed to enhance the lives of elders, their families, and the entire Key Peninsula community. The organization provides services and programs in transportation, information and referral, health and wellness, senior housing options, community education, and nutrition, with a mission to support independent living and quality of life for seniors in the region.
