The Lakewoods is centrally located on the Lakewoods Senior Campus in the former Maumee Valley Hospital. This lovely, six-story building has been carefully remodeled under historic guidelines preserving and incorporating much of the architecture from the 1930s.
The Lakewoods is located in a beautiful residential area with all the conveniences close by. Within minutes, our residents can enjoy a meal, a game or a class at the Senior Center, shop at one of the many local retail establishments or catch a bus right at the front door. Toledo offers a variety of exciting attractions including a World-Class Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, Erie Street Market, Toledo Museum, and Swan Creek Metro Park.

My Momma loves her and in my opinion? It's one of the best Senior living community? I've ever had the Privilege of of experiencing when I visit my mother? They always are curtious and greet you with a family type feeling? My momma loves it there very much? And if anyone has a loves one that needs a community like this one, I suggest checking it out you never know? It could be the next best thing for them, if they are able to live on there own? My sister stayed here she just moved there a couple of months ago she loves it I went to visit really really nice place very spacious very clean the people that were sitting at the interest chilling out that live there was very welcome

I like to move in there but it's been taken so long to process the application I have put my application about 6 months ago and I was told the waiting list 6 months but I did not get married yet 😢

This is a 55 and over building.<br>Has a Library/Computer Rm. A Council of Volunteers who organizes events for the building. The have bake sales, 50/50 raffles, garage sales as fund raising.
