If I could give negative reviews or less than one star I would. My Aunt was just there and the treatment of her was absurd. She had a problem with her picc line and they A, didn’t realize until the morning and B, they didn’t have the skills to then clear the line, so she was sent back to the hospital to the infusion room. That tells me that the facility doesn’t have the capacity to actually care for people that need frequent monitoring; which unfortunately will be most people and patients that need a post-acute rehab facility.

My grandma stayed at The Healthcare Resort of Topeka after a hip fracture and some heart complications, and the care she received was outstanding. The nursing staff went above and beyond — they were kind, reassuring, and consistently attentive to her comfort and medical needs. You could tell they truly cared about her as a person, not just a patient. Therapy was also excellent and helped her regain strength and confidence. We’re very thankful for the wonderful team that supported her recovery.

I thought this place would be a Great place . It has good rantings. The first day my husband was here they brought him down to his room about 12ish. I had to go back to work. He sit in his room from about 12ish until I was able to get there after work about 6 pm in a chair that he couldn't get out of with out a walker or anything to get up with. They did not bring him dinner either. They didn't do anything until I I got here at 6pm. Now today (he had a in pick line put in his arm the day before yesterday in the hospital for his antibiotics) they came in tonight to give him his antibiotics abd it and it is clogged. How did this happen already?? He just got here yesterday.! I have tried to call the charge nurse. No answer. So I tried to call social services left a message today. But Noone called me back. So tomorrow I will start calling everyone on the list. I don't think they would like me to call the news station ALSO HE PUSHED THE CALL LIGHT ALL DAY AND NO ONE CAME TO HELP HIM UNTIL I GOT THERE AND ASK THEM ABOUT THE LIGHT. Thank you

My husband and I went to visit his grandfather who is there on hospice. He was in his room in a wheelchair and said he wanted to get into his recliner so he could take a nap so we pushed the call light and it took almost 10 mins for someone to come and when she finally did she was trying to lift him from the back of his sweatpants when he was wearing a gait belt, then kept just saying 'stand up' over and over when he clearly can't stand or walk on his own anymore and was struggling. Hes 94 and on hospice. I did take a photo of her, also his room was a mess and his floors were very sticky. I guess they're short staffed on housekeeping or they need to be retrained
