Memory Care services are available right next door to MeadowView Memory Care. Our philosophy of care drove our design. Every detail of MeadowView Memory Care Village is planned and designed to assist a person with memory impairment. The goal in design is to ease the stress and frustration that can occur with memory impairment, recognizing the need to provide a safe and secure sense of home.
MeadowView Memory Care Village is licensed as an assisted living with a specialty in memory care. Our entire building and staff training is designed to help individuals with memory loss thrive despite their disease.
Many individuals living with Dementia are still physically high functioning and enjoy socialization and staying busy. However, often times they need direction and reminders to complete daily tasks. For their safety and for the health of their caregiver, they require 24 hour care.
MeadowView's unique community incorporates amenities that provide way-finding and freedom of movement in a warm and secure environment. Assisted living memory care is tailored for individuals who are not appropriate for nursing home placement but no longer safe to be home. Our experiential design, extensive 7 day per week activities and outings program, expertise in dementia and family caregiving are what sets us apart.
The MeadowView atrium provides a small town setting that includes everything from a post office to an ice cream parlor. These features provide reminders and encouragement allowing residents freedom of movement throughout our entire community. We often find this freedom helps reduce behaviors as well as the need for antipsychotic medications. You will not find another memory care assisted living facility like MeadowView in the state of Iowa!
