Although this is a brand-new senior apartment complex, the place is falling apart. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are falling apart, already, and we have been here, ONLY 2 months. As, of this current date, the property manager, says that there is NO maintenance personnel here. There was a guy named Toby here 2 months ago, but he either quit or was fired. When THERE was a maint. guy, 2 months ago, the manger say's the broken cabinets are a WARRENTY PROBLEM, and that the WARRENTY company would take 3 day's for them to notify them, to come and fix, these continually breaking cabinets. It has been going on 3 months, and the most that the so called WARRENTY COMPANY did, was spill automotive bondo, on the cabinets, and all over my bathroom floor, and have NOT, even come back to clean up, the mess they left.
There are also, they must be recently homeless people, that moved in and leave the outside area full of trash and cigarette butts, and refuse to clean up, after themselves. They also beg anybody, on or off the property for rides somewhere, as well as cigarettes Although this apartment complex is new, it has and will be going downhill, super-fast. It has been more than 31/2 months and the property manager, refuses to have maint. replace our air filter, I have serious breathing problems, and even if I tried, I could not reach 9 feet high to replace the air filter. The property has 5 brand new gas grills, and they (the manager) refuses to fill EVEN 1 propane tank. The management expects elderly residents to carry around a heavy 5-gallon tank of propane, and perhaps lug the tank, to the 3rd and 4th floor apartments, if they want to use the 5 brand new gas grills, disgraceful. This over 62 years old-unit apartment, is fast becoming the worst place in Phoenix, and Mercy Housing Corporation did it in less than 3 months. YOU would be better off, homeless, then living here.

New update here. NOTHING in maintenance has been getting fixed here for over 7 months. If something is broke in your apt. it will stay broke, until you move out. New property manager is just as bad as the old one. The new manager, Olivia , is more interested in being a fashion diva, than getting maint. issues fixed, from 6 months ago. Heed the warning here, do not move to this dump.

Very spacious, nice air conditioning, the dog park could use a covering for shade. And to keep us and the animals from being burnt from the sun.

Totally 0. After new management take cover feels like nothing will get done. Any requests to fix cabinets or different things in apartment ...never getting answer when they will resolve issues other, then first they need to inspect it first.
They were issue that they send late payments notification with late fees to residents who pay it on time, and they want them to prove they did by bank statements etc... with its senior living so not everyone can just go to bank and get statements right away.
Just poor management who never want to leave their office and find out what's really going on around.
Now they start sending lease volitions about garbage been not throw in the garbage chute but how you want to make that happen for some residents when a lot of times for few days in garbage chute room bags are on floor and no way even to get to that chute. They have cameras etc.. so they see issue. Adding few days just that garbage sitting there and piles up before anyone take care of it with giving amazing smell in entire floor sometimes even your apartment.

Not what it says it is. Community issues growing more contentious. Appears only minimally required percentage of residents are seniors. A good number of young tenants. Locked down like a prison with extreme restrictions imposed on tenants. That said beautiful facility. It just needs some time for the building, the staff and the community to mature and develop. Here’s hoping so! Great deal of potential here with some community empathy and patience. Peace

Miss Maria, (*ARS 13§12-2809)today you accused my mother a stealing but let me tell you a little bit about her, she does not have a criminal record, she is a mother of four and one deceased she has about 33 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren plus she raised four stepchildren.
My mother has raised so many children including my two children, she's very low and very important. Our senior citizens geriatric psych level 2 facility, love working with elderly and you should always treat them how you want your parents treated.
Your behavior was not only offensive, it's illegal I think your office and especially you owe her an apology.
My mother has never stolen a day in your life, which is why she probably offered to empty her purse out, you not only stressed out but you broke the law when there are cameras in that facility and I employ you to follow ARS preserve in a camera footage because I'm going to need it later.
“Because nationally and in Arizona Black people are disproportionately targeted by criminal-justice processes and appear at higher rates in arrest and incarceration data, it is particularly unacceptable and indicative of bias that your employee so quickly accused my mother — an elderly Black woman who has lived a law-abiding life — of theft without evidence.”

“Racial stereotyping plays a role here: when the group is only ~13% of the U.S. population but is far more likely to face accusation/arrest, false allegations and profiling become part of the harm. This is even more egregious when directed at an 80-year-old senior citizen.”
She serves God first and she is never stolen anything a day in her life and today wearing a climate where this administration and this president has the whole world stressed but he's causing people to unmask their hidden stereotypes, racism and discrimination but more deeply their inner turmoil with the person in a mirror.
The Federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3604) – prohibits discrimination or harassment in housing based on race, color, or national origin.
Arizona Civil Rights Act (A.R.S. § 41-1491.19) – prohibits treating a tenant differently because of race.
You picked the right child of God today to discriminate against and your deed including my mother says she emptied her purse out for you to look into, she was distraught, embarrassed, angry and upset and I don't know about you but I thank God every day that I can hear her voice for 80 years, she is my best friend and I don't take kindly to people violating her civil rights and disrespecting her.

This behavior was offensive, discriminatory, and unacceptable and while my mother follows what the Bible says turn the other cheek, but there's a such thing as accountability even though ice agents, immigration and some of this administration aren't following the laws set forth in this country my mom does and so do I.
It's amazing how some individuals would take advantage of our children in the elderly when nobody's around to stick up for them, is called INTEGRITY WOULD YOU SHOWED NONE OF THIS SATURDAY.
ARS§13-1802
ARS§13-3019
ARS§13-1809
HUD Fair Housing
Arizona Attorney General Civil Rights Division
