I visit many senior communities and if you are anywhere near the San Dimas area, The Terraces at Via Verde is one of the best places to take your loved one if they are faced with memory impairment in any way. You can trust that your loved one will be treated with care as they live in their new home. I work for a medical group where my clinical staff comes in and gives extra clinical support partnering with their clinical staff there at the community. The amount of wellness and enrichment programs they have show how much they truly care for each and every resident. Special thanks to those we work very close with, Oscar, Suby, Nicole and their entire team for all that you do. The team there works on a string to make sure every level of care is completed. And I can't finish a review for them without a special shot out to the culinary team. Residents are given healthy and favorable dining. Simply put, the food is amazing! The Terraces has exceeded my expectations in every respect. The level of care provided is exceptional, and every employee I have encountered has been consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. It is clear that the staff takes great pride in their work and truly cares about the well-being, comfort, and dignity of the residents. As I do not live nearby, I am unable to visit my sister as often as I would like. Whenever I call, the staff takes the time to listen, answer my questions thoroughly, and provide meaningful updates regarding my sister’s care. Their openness, patience, and commitment to communication offer me tremendous reassurance. Knowing that my sister is receiving such attentive and compassionate care brings me great comfort and peace of mind.

My wife and I shopped around a lot to find the right place for her dad once his care needs exceeded our capacity. The first facility we placed him at kicked him out after 5 days, not because of behavior but because they decided he “wasn’t a good fit.” We were in a bind but The Terraces quickly took up the slack and transferred him to a wonderful room. It ended up being a blessing in disguise because The Terraces was the absolute perfect place for my father in law. He had much more room to roam. The caregivers adored him and helped him in all the ways he needed. His room and bathroom were always clean, even when I dropped by unannounced. The staff at The Terraces is incredibly responsive. They even gave me their cell numbers so the family could communicate at any time. His last few months of life were incredibly happy and peaceful at The Terraces. I can’t recommend them enough.

Moving to The Terraces was the best decision I could ever make for my dad with his Alzheimer's disease. The staff are kind, empathetic, caring, attentive, responsive, helpful, thoughtful, actively involved daily with the residence, supportive, and innovative in their approach to daily activities and living with memory care issues. Their targeted programs really bring out the best in each resident, and it brings great comfort to the families knowing that they are truly in a hands of individuals who are experts in dealing with memory care issues. The doctor was going to increase my dad's medication because of behavioral issues at his prior memory care community. Once he moved to The Terraces, it turned out the medication didn't need to be changed, he just needed to be more engaged and provider with more directed care. He's doing amazing and The doctor determined that the medication didn't need to be changed at all! Now that was a blessing! He didn't need to be more medicated, he just needed to be engaged and given proper attention and care. Big difference!!!!
