Sunny Village Care Center is very hygienic environment and the staffs are very professional. The staff and nurses are very friendly and understanding in attending to the elderly patients. I’m glad that my mother’s need were met meanwhile being cared for at Sunny Village. She was able to recuperate rapidly from her back surgery while staying there for two weeks. Overall, I’m very grateful to Sunny Village Care Center for taking care of my mother. Thank you very much!

Horrible place!!! Our elders do not deserve to be in such a tragic yet horrid place like this. This review is mainly because the care that was provided to my grandmother was cruel and tasteless. They wouldn't change my grandmother. Every time I visited, her diaper was FULL which caused her serious butt sores. There're a few occasions that during the time they changed, they intentionally pinched or did it roughly. If she had diarrhea, they would let her sit on a toilet seat for hours until she couldn't sit anymore, regardless she was begging them to bring her back to the bed. The people who provide bathing: they steal money, valuable items, clothes, and jewelry. If you tip them, they will do a thorough job. If you don't, the shower lasts within a few minutes. They didn't directly ask for tips or gifts, but you would get mistreated if you didn't give them anything. I tried to ask my grandmother to report them but she said the moment she talked about them, she would get more mistreatment. I have a list of the names of those people and will report them (Maria is one of them). There is no compassion for the elderly here. I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

When it comes to caring for someone you love, you will obviously have high standards. But if you have any experience in these types of places, you'll know what's out there. My mom stayed at Sunny for a month, after a stroke. Here is my honest breakdown: The facility is dated but generally clean. The hallways are buzzing with staff. They do a good job of keeping airflow moving. Lots of diapers getting changed. Admin could be better. It's confusing to know what's covered or what's not covered. My mom got no speech therapy. Even though she needed it the most. They always seem busy and annoyed for some reason. PT staff are kind and patient. Eric and his team (Mario, Leslie) did a great job helping my mom with rehab.They share training tips with you so you can help your loved one recover on your own time. Insurance usually covers an hour of PT and there's lots of patients trying to get help. So it's important to do your own PT, especially in the afternoon. Overall, they treated my mom well. I think the key is to be present. When _you_ care, _they_ care. Also, get to know the staff. They are humans doing a tough job.

This facility centre is equipped with skilled nurses to take care of patients. There are nurses who are very kind & have been very helpful towards mom. My mom has been in this facility for a few months, the therapy team does great job in helping her to move around, sit on wheelchair & walking. Hoping mom continues to progress her recovery with the help from all skilled professionals 🌹

I am very happy with the care I received from therapy, especially Eric. His staff, CNAs who help change me. Also, the kitchen supervisor came to talk to me to accommodate my need. The facility smells good and clean. everyone has a positive outlook and enjoy taking care of their patients. I could not have gotten better without their wonderful care and assistance.
