Do not leave your love ones here if they need medical care. And you are not able to keep an eye on their care. The nursing care here is unacceptable. My husband entered on a Saturday, we asked for a suction pump and were happy to see they found one for him, but when we came in the next afternoon the pump was still sitting on the dresser. No one even set it up, my son and I set it up for my husband. On Monday afternoon I check his glucose monitor and saw his glucose was a little high. I checked with the nurses desk and they all said he had his insulin at 9am. So I talked to them about the need to may be increase his long acting insulinin the am. Only to find out from his nurse at 1:30pm that no one had given him any insulin today. The nurse had an emergency with a patient and I guess not one backs up the nurses if this happens and their regular patient do not get treated. On Wednesday night my son came in and checked his glucose only to see it was 247. Then he hunted for the nurse, only to find he did not have one. Or at least the nurse was never told that he or other patients were hers for the shift, due to a call out. So if my son had not come in, my husband would not have had a nurse all shift and his glucose would have continued to increase. On Thursday night my son checked his glucose and saw it had not been checked for over 7 hours, but could not find his nurse. No one had any idea where he was, if he was a lunch or even when he would be back. It seems there is no one checking the nursing staff to make sure all patients are covered. And be careful about leaving clothes we brought clothes in Thursday night and they were gone by friday afternoon and never have been found. Thankfully my husband was sent back to hospital on friday, something happened and his liver values went sky high, this never happened before. But the odd thing was we were told they sent him to hospital due to his BUN numbers, which surprised the ER doctors because the BUN was the same as it had been before. So please be careful leaving love ones here.

Worst place ever! If you love your family don’t send them there. Nurses are rude, and some staff don’t even wear gloves to handle biohazard waste.
