I recently toured Sullivan House while researching personal care homes in the area and left genuinely moved by what I experienced. As someone who spent years visiting family members in larger facilities that felt cold and understaffed, walking into Sullivan House felt like the complete opposite.

Gina, the owner, was present, passionate, and clearly sets the tone for everything that happens there. You can tell immediately that this isn't just a business to her. Shedina, the Executive Director, was sharp, organized, and deeply knowledgeable which is exactly the kind of steady leadership you want overseeing your loved one's daily care. Allison, who leads Community Outreach made me feel welcomed from our first phone conversation and answered every question thoughtfully.

What impressed me most was the staff. The caregivers were genuinely engaged with residents, they knew them by name, and brought real warmth to every interaction. The culture here starts at the top and you feel it throughout the entire home.

The home itself was spotless, bright, and thoughtfully arranged. Residents were active, social, and clearly comfortable. Meals are prepared with individual preferences in mind and the activity calendar reflects real effort to keep residents mentally and socially engaged every single day.

If you want your Mom, Dad or loved one to thrive in a community that actually delivers on the promise of personalized care mixed with genuine southern hospitality, I would highly recommend Sullivan House!
