I was a patient and unable to stand or walk. The Therapy Staff went above and beyond to help me stand and walk slowly including stairs. I have gained strength and motivation to continue therapy at home. In particular, Ms. Terry, Ms. Joyce, Ms. Marlene, Ms. Maria, Mr. Paul, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Ana, Ms. R.J. encouraged me from the small steps to the huge steps. Ms. Lydia and Ms. Colleen cheered from afar. Nurses Ms. Marie, Mr. Tyrone, Mr. Moona, Mr. Bobby always updated my medication. My aides Ms. Marie, Ms. Edith, Ms. Bruna, Ms. Aida, Ms. NorelI, Ms. Baptist, and Ms. Esther were always accommodating to my concerns and helped me to rise up and take control of my life. Ms. Opal and Mr. Elton always followed up with my appointments and arrangements for travel to my various doctors. Ms. Marisol set up my home therapy and assured me of consistency with my therapy. A shout out to Ms. Patience who went from one of my Aides to Nurse. I was in tears when I left but will be returning in mid July after surgery to continue improving my physical and occupational therapy. I call them my trainers. And to my fellow patients, keep going. Believe me I know it's hard and tiring but you gradually gain independence relying on yourself. May God Bless and Protect always you all and your families. Safe travels. See you soon 🙏🙏❤️🙋🏻‍♀️

My overall experience has been excellent!!! The staff is genuinely interested in my rehabilitation. I'm receiving a daily routine of professional care. Understanding one's medical condition (mental and physical) gives credence to the sincerity of the humanity of their professionalism of the staff.

I had an unusual situation in that both my husband and I needed to be there for a couple of weeks. One of us for respite care and the other for rehab. They were extremely accommodating in helping each of us with our individual needs . Medications were properly and timely brought; activities were carefully planned; care and response were excellent! We both found the staff to be extraordinary! Should the need arise we would go back with no hesitancy.

The phrase "doctors make the worse patient" may hold some truth to that but at Stratford Manor, I found the interdisciplinary team allowed me to feel that my caregiving experience was more like family care. Professionalism was combined with compassion from the entire medical team and supporting staff. Stratford Manor is a 5 star - Medicaid and Medicare approved sub-acute/rehabilitation and full-service long-term nursing home facility. One of the most striking distinctions first noticeable in the facility is the cleanliness of the facility. Second, is the attentiveness of the complete team to each resident needs and where appropriate, their personalized treatment goals and care plans. This is not to distract from the quality of the 7 day a week Physical Therapy (PT) Department where I received my personalized therapy regimen. The PT department is housed in a brand new, fully equipped, state-of-the-art Therapy gym. It is here where I learned to sufficiently regain my mobility. to return to my home independently. I especially wish to thank Joyce aka Joy or Jocelyn for her demonstrated investment in my positive treatment outcome. My day-to-day needs were managed by each Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) that was assigned to me daily. Peta-Gaye and Elizabeth "Lizzie", are exceptional CNAs who handled my reluctance to get bathed, fully dressed and promptly ready for my physical therapy team, like a racing car pit crew. They both deserve a bonus and a raise after putting up with both my feet dragging and other supplications Usually the operation runs like a well-oiled engine: breakfast at 8:00am; assisted in shower and dressed by 9:00am; morning meds at 9:30am; and ready for pickup by PT staff by 10:00am. The CNAs carefully coordinate patient care with the Nursing staff's directives. Nurses: Stephen, Nemo and Paula delivered quality health care above and beyond. my expectation. Overall, my 6-week rehabilitation stay at Stratford Manor can only best be summarized as both restorative and transformational for all the reasons cited above as well as a special thanks to Dr. Braubram, attending physician and both Alexandra Smolarova, Administrator, and the Q.A. Coordinator, Mr. James Lettsome. Dr. Linda S. Cameron, Psy.D

My stay at Straford Manor rehabilitation and care center was actually more than I ever thought it would be me being 30 years old coming to a place. I was very insecure and I thought I would be uncomfortable, but I wasn’t the staff. Here is amazing. The residence are nice no one judged me It gives you a very homely experience while getting the treatment and help that you would need as if you were in the hospital they have nurses and CNa’s plus some great doctors. You’re never waiting long. They have a variety different choices of food to accommodate everyone no matter what your diet is even if you’re allergic to something if they have something on the menu that you don’t like. The kitchen staff will prepare something for you, The Wi-Fi here is actually pretty good which also surprised me because I’ve went to hotels and had a buffering circle going on while I was here. I never had that problem. They also have different activities that they do throughout the whole Month , theres always something different, whether bingo bowling arts and craft, we even made candy bags for the trick-or-treaters filled with candy for Halloween. Plus If it’s your birthday, they definitely acknowledge it , put it on a calendar and make you feel special like you’re not even missing nothing at home because when you’re here it’s like you have a whole new family that you didn’t know existed and everyone sings for your birthday and acknowledge it and that’s some thing that some of my own friends don’t do and for breast cancer awareness everyone wore pink and had a bake sale giving out pins and bracelets some even said a prayer for family that was lost because of it they have some really dedicated activity staff that’s with you everyday we even get a smoke break which I was very grateful for leaving the hospital that gives you none just being to go be able to go outside and smoke a cigarette was something that I really appreciated also, the physical therapist they are wonderful too. It’s literally nothing bad. I can say about this place. The colors of the gym are pretty. It’s so clean. There always cleaning which is a super plus They work with everyone individual needs. They even check on you and ask you how you’re doing and you can literally hear the concern and their voice. They wanna make sure you’re good. They make sure before you leave you’re doing so much better than when you came in . I’m happy to go home feeling all better thanks to everyone here and I do mean everyone here but I will say I’m gonna think about this place and everyone that I met here I’ll be coming back just to visit because like I said it’s like a family I never knew existed
