My nephew was diagnosed with a terminal cancer of unknown primary. When he could not take care of himself at home he was moved to Stoney River in Marshfield where he lived while going through treatments and eventually placed on hospice and remained at Stoney River until he passed. I cannot say enough about Stoney River. The care was professional and comforting, food was very good, the room was very pleasant (like a small apartment ) and well kept. So many activities for the people there. The whole place had a homey atmosphere with fire places, libraries, games, sitting areas. At times entertainment was scheduled. It is managed so well by Sarah Krenn who immediately addresses any problems or concerns should they arise, and all of the staff were very respectful and kind. My nephew was so well cared for and all of his needs were met as they worked tirelessly to make him comfortable especially at end of life care. There is so much more that makes this place one of the best facilities for a loved one to get the best care. Should I need care assistance in the future would not hesitate to go there myself.
