I visited St. John of God Health Care Services regularly for many years while my aunt was a resident there. Through those visits, I had the opportunity to get to know the staff, nurses, and caregivers. As someone from a healthcare background, I was always impressed by how attentive, caring, professional, and friendly they were with the residents and their families. The grounds were consistently clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this facility for anyone seeking quality long-term care and a compassionate living environment for a loved one.

Update to my previous review. Still a lovely facility. And I will never forget how amazing everyone was to her in her first two residences. However.... My mom passed away in November. I found out from a family friend who saw it on Facebook.This person wrote me a lovely condolence note. I had no idea. The billing department had contacted me for payment a day or two before. My sibling was notified but not me. My sibling only would go to see her if she needed medical care and they live a lot closer. I paid the bills i visited and made sure when she needed something she got it. She was on the decline for 4 days. If I had known I would have gotten there as soon as possible. It no one told me and when I talked to the social worker that they give you the number for apparently they notate if they're with family or friends... or if they are alone. And my mom was alone. And that hurts my heart so much. I mean sure. I might assume that if you tell one family member they'd alert the others. But families go through crazy stuff when a parent is passing. Every child should be called. And not just for the bill.
