I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff treat residents like family, and you can feel the compassion the moment you walk in. The facility is always clean and comfortable, and the meals are actually enjoyable—something that really matters day to day. It gave me peace of mind knowing my loved one was in such caring hands. To the entire team at Pine Forest thank you !

I would like to take e this time to personally thank the staff who made my stay at Pine forest Rehab an awesome experience. I had a rough surgery and a long stay at the hospital and the I had to have rehabilitation. I was glad I chose this place. Brian, Ana, the entire team in the physical therapy department were awesome! I felt so secure, they moved me forward in my rehab, and encouraged me at every turn. The nurse on c wing, My favorite nurse Mary, the doctors on staff and the nurse practitioner were so attentive to my needs. The evening shift, 3-11 nurse with glasses can't remember her name, Baily, and other's were fantastic! I want to thank you all, Ms Todd as well. I had a rough night and she eased me through it all a couple of times. Thank you to the c wing staff, and everyone that was part of my care. I'm back home still mending and I received a call from you guys to see how I was doing. Thank you all. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking excellent support and care.😀🌺♥️

Family member/ Concerned Citizen A resident residing in this facility, informed me that they are being issued a certain amount of Diapers per week. I need to talk to someone besides workers in that facility. I need numbers so someone can investigate this issue! If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated. Concerned Citizen

I was scheduled to provide mobile Notary services at Pine Forest Rehab for a resident who requested execution of a Power of Attorney. I arrived as scheduled and was prepared to perform my duties in accordance with Florida Notarial standards, which require the Notary — not facility staff or family members — to independently assess identity and awareness at the time of signing. During the appointment, a social worker named Vicky White intervened, spoke in a rude and dismissive manner, and stopped the requested Power of Attorney signing from occurring, ordering me to leave the facility despite the resident’s expressed intent and after professional services had already begun. The signing was not permitted to proceed, and no effort was made to escalate the matter to facility administration or to provide an alternative accommodation. Florida law recognizes that nursing facility residents have the right to unrestricted private communication, including the right to consult with legal counsel (see Florida Statute § 400.022(1)(k)). As a licensed Florida Notary Public, I was concerned that this resident’s requested access to legal services was blocked without clear process, explanation, or escalation! The situation was further complicated by family conflict. The individual who previously held Power of Attorney was hospitalized at the time and unavailable to act, while another family member attempted to control the situation and prevent the resident’s sisters from assisting. Rather than allowing the Notary process to proceed or involving appropriate administration, the signing was summarily shut down. Powers of Attorney are often urgent and emotionally sensitive matters. Preventing a resident from completing requested legal documents without clear policy, escalation, or respectful communication creates unnecessary stress for residents and families. I strongly recommend that Pine Forest Rehab review its policies, staff training, and escalation procedures regarding resident access to outside legal professionals and ensure that staff understand the distinct role of Florida Notaries in these situations.

I absolutely loved this place. From the receptionist to the housekeepers everyone was amazing and so kind. Great customer service and everyone just seems so happy there even the residents. Mom didn’t want to leave, she said she would be back to visit and play bingo with everyone. Thank you all for helping mom recover and thank you for helping me rest easy knowing she was taken care of .
