Our mom needed more attention than we could give her at home, and we visited several ALFs. Sonata stood out for us because the facility is not huge, which is important because we want mom to have plenty of social interaction. The staff also stood out, especially Nardene, who made it a point to come and meet mom. All of the staff are compassionate and friendly, and we are kept informed of mom’s progress. Recently we had to move her to memory care, but again, the staff were wonderful and her transition has been great. My sister and I are very satisfied with Sonata and the care they provide our mother.

I recently made the very difficult decision to move my father into a new memory care community, and while we ultimately chose another location based on location, I want to share how truly incredible our experience was with Sonata of Delray Beach.<br><br>From the moment we walked in, Jim, the Executive Director, made us feel genuinely welcomed. His warmth, openness, and heartfelt dedication to the residents and families were clear from the start. I actually referenced him when speaking to other communities as the gold standard for what leadership should look like in a care setting.<br><br>Anecia was another standout. Her ability to understand and articulate exactly how I was feeling—sometimes before I could even put it into words—was so comforting. Her compassion and emotional intelligence make a world of difference during such a vulnerable time.<br><br>And Martine is a true advocate. You can tell she goes to bat for every resident and family, and her passion for creating a meaningful, thoughtful memory care program is inspiring.<br><br>Although we chose a different community based on the nearness to family. I left Sonata with such deep respect and appreciation. The people at Sonata of Delray Beach are not only professionals—they are deeply kind, intuitive, and dedicated individuals.<br><br>There may be no perfect answer when it comes to care, but being surrounded by people like this makes the journey so much more bearable. I wholeheartedly recommend taking the time to visit Sonata if you are exploring memory care options for a loved one.

I visited Sonata West Delray Assisted Living with my mom and we met with Anecia. The moment we stepped into the building, we were greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and conversation. The staff, in particular the Head of Activities, made her way over to talk to my mom and ask her about her interests. She was enthusiastic and you could tell she loves what she does! Anecia was informative, compassionate, and sincere. You really got the feeling she was concerned and interested in my mom and learning about the person rather than just “selling a room”. We also found Sonata to be clean and updated. All in all a very positive and pleasant experience!
