I have several pros and one major concern for this living facility. First of all, my loved one absolutely loves living here and raves about the staff, the food, and community. I am so thankful for everyone at Sodalis that care for all of the residents and especially my mom. When my mom moved in roughly five years ago the facility was under a different company. The price was very affordable and we were assured although price increases happen from time to time, prices would stay within my mom’s budget. This changed significantly when the original company sold to Sodalis. Since, there have been several price increases; one a year, but this year there have been two separate price increases. Although I understand some of the price increases, I’m left wondering when is enough, enough? Most Seniors have limited financial resources, my mom is one of those. I’m starting to truly become concerned that if these price increases continue, my mom will no longer be able to afford living here. Then I wonder, how many others are feeling the same financial stresses over these price increases that seem to never end? It’s just a really tough situation to be in all the way around. It’s almost as though families are being taken advantage of financially. Companies such as these know they have people caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to their loved ones.
