Misty refused to let me speak to my mother. And then informed me asking questions was a HIPAA violation. Don't worry, I'll be in touch

This facility is great. The rehab team is amazing, they helped my father get back home. The team here takes their time with treating him in physical therapy, and everyone there is extremely nice. My father met some nice people here patients and staff.

My mother was sent here for rehab after a hospital stay. She did not recieve the medictions the doctor prescribed on the discharge papers which resulted in another ER visit and hospital stay. They could not tell me or the ER staff why the medications were not given. The Doctor is contracted in and only in the building on Monday and Tuesday, which we never met. Medications come in on Thursday so if they don't have it in stock you have to wait for the meds to arrive (not the reason my mother did not get them). You meet with OT and PT to prepare a plan over the computer not in person. The facilty is old and in need of repair. There were not enough outlets to run a NIV machine. They had a water issue that had the entire building smelling as well as some painting going on in the hallway of the building that added to the smell. The floor was coming up in the kitchen area. My mother was cramed in a small room with a long term nursing home resident.

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN HERE. I know your choices are limited, but if you care anything about your loved one, you will find a different alternative. They have been bought out by a company out of California and they suck. The staff is short handed and they only care about money. Upper management ONLY CARES ABOUT THE MIGHTY DOLLAR. They are filling rooms with the same limited help. THEIR TRAINING POIICY IS TO MAKE RESIDENT SECONDARY. BEWARE. Find a different alternative!

Just like any medical facility, be certain to pay close attention to what the so-called professionals are doing, charging, feeding , advising, bathing, dressing, etc. .and how they're treating your loved ones. Be certain the residents can count on you for their advocacy, visit often and make sure to hold the administration here accountable for taking the best possible care of your family or friend. It is a fact that so many people go into the care profession because they truly care and want to be in service to others, but there are those few bad apples who either burn out or never cared in the first place. It's important to weed those individuals out of this field of work in order to preserve the lives and dignity of aging loved ones.
