All staff members receive dementia care certification requiring 40 hours of classroom and hands-on training.
Silverado Rolling Hills offers innovative programs and amenities including Nexus, an internationally-recognized, evidence-based brain health program that uses a non-drug approach to improve cognition and function for persons in earlier stages of dementia. The community features purposefully designed elements to support memory care residents and provides weekly caregiver support groups held every Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to help families navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's and dementia.
The community's leadership brings extensive expertise in senior care and dementia specialized services. The facility has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for its performance and has over 20 years of experience in memory care.
