I am currently living in Serenity Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I am very pleased with the care I am receiving. I have compassionate Nursing Care. Nichole is one of my Nurses. I am very fond of Nichole. She is an excellent listener. I always get my medication on time. Another Nurse is Ms. Lucine. She is my night Nurse. I am fond of her also. Keisha is another Nurse I adore. Keisha is a wonderful listener. Mika, is the Kitchen Director. I have an incurable disease regarding the foods I can eat. Mika goes above and beyond. Each shift has a Charge Nurse. Joey has worked here many years. Joey is a great listener and attends to whatever medical needs I need taken care of by contacting the appropriate Doctor. Paulette is another Charge Nurse that also does whatever medical needs needed by contacting the appropriate Doctor. I relate to Paulette very well. I love her fashionable side in her attire. Jackie, the Administrator takes time to correct any issues that are warranted. Dahlia is the Nurse Administrator. She is excellent at making sure your nursing needs are met. The other employees, such as the CNA’S, Housekeeping, maintenance, Dining Room employees plan daily activities and book Singing Bands etc. Itsy, is a wonderful employee who I adore. She goes the extra mile to meet some of the patients personal needs. I give Serenity Bay and Nursing Rehabilitation Center 5 Stars. *****. Sincerely, Monica

This is the best rehab ever!!! A month ago my father had a fall at home and broke his hip for which he end up having a surgery at the hospital. And one of the social workers recommend us this place . At first we were a little scare because we never had a situation like this, we had no choice but to put him in this amazing place where he received all his treatments. They have an incredible team at the rehab part and the nurses where the best… if you or a family member ever need to go to a rehab, this is the place!

Definitely, this is the place to bring your loved ones for rehab. My mother was admitted after a 5 weeks stay in a hospital. I was very concerned because as you might know, hospitals rush you to make a very important decision in no time when about to discharge. So after a quick in person visit, I chose Krystal and crossed my fingers...now I can say that I took the right decision! When she arrived she was unable to walk, eat, bath, or get dressed by herself. From Jenny at admissions to nurses Beverline, Vina, CNA's, and therapists!, I'm very grateful for all the great work they did. It's a medium size facility, clean, flexible on visit's schedule and lenght, and they communicate very well with relatives regarding the progress of the patient. She was treated like family, with care and love, and was discharged 6 weeks later, on her feet and back home again! Thank you all the staff.

My 92 yr old mother who suffers from dementia is in her 4th year at Krystal Bay. I cannot say enough about the excellent care that she gets from the staff. I am contacted for every concern that they have regarding her. And, I am at the nursing home every week. I not only see the care that they give her, but I watch how they are with the other patients. Just about every caregiver knows my mother's name, and there's a ton of workers there. I am very happy with the care that she receives.

Not fancy and high end looking but the care is outstanding! Have had the unlucky opportunity to need rehab and long term nursing care as well as medical care in 3 different residences and 3 different hospitals. Had my family member been here from the beginning, he would have never have gotten as sick or weak, and would not need to be here. They are doing an amazing job in bringing what many considered a lost cause back to life. The staff is kind and caring. The nursing and assistants join in activities to make residence feel alive and welcome. They call to notify me of any little item, even a diaper rash. Nurses are conscientious. They and the CNAs talk to patients as if they are completely listening, even when they can't respond. They are on top of every small detail, all while being kind. The wound care nurse is unbelievable. She completely healed wounds that were caused by neglect and poorly treated for 5 months within 2 weeks. Healing, preventing and controlling wounds is her mission. Therapists are great! Speech and restorative have helped dad come a long way. The speech therapist has done more cognitive rehab with dad than anyone in 5 months and he is benefiting.The dietician is also great. She orders and follows up on labs and is quick to make necessary changes. The activities director truly wants to make residence feel active and involved. She is great. There is live music often. For me, this is a small gem that is doing everything it can to give my dad a quality of life while giving me peace of mind that he is well cared for. For long term care, I thank Krystal Bay with all my heart.
