A year and a half ago, I moved from Maryland to Florida. My father, who was 100½ years old at the time, and my siblings and I decided that he should move closer to me, as I was his primary caregiver. He was a true champion and agreed to make the trip to Aventura.

Initially, he lived in an assisted living facility near my home, but unfortunately, the experience was disastrous. The administration was poorly managed, so we began looking for other options and ultimately moved him to Seaside. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.

From the administration and nursing staff to the kitchen, laundry, and front desk teams, everyone was kind, compassionate, and professional. Sean, Sophia, Helene, Ashley, Lourdes, and so many others went above and beyond in caring for my father.

Each day, I left knowing he was in good hands. He felt at home, was comfortable, and was treated with dignity and respect. My father passed away at the age of 102, and we miss him dearly. Our family will always be grateful for the exceptional care and kindness shown by the wonderful people at Seaside. They made a tremendous difference in my father’s life and brought our family great peace of mind.
