The Savoy of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla was the worse place that we could've had my 69 year old brother go for rehab. It was not clean, food was not appetizing, they kept him in soiled diapers. He had a Foley that was not properly taken care of, got an infection, which lead to Sepsis and C diff. My brother died after being there 2 weeks!! There were a couple of caring medical people, most of the workers were there to get a weekly pay check! We were advised to go to the Savoy through a list of rehabs the hospital recommended. A woman from the Savory did not tell us any truth about the Savoy when she came into the hospital to sell us on how great the Savoy is, NOT TRUE!! It was HORRIBLE!! I'm so heart broken and sad!! Don't ever go to the Savoy of Ft. Lauderdale!! The one thing that keeps me going is that I know for a fact, my brother Joe, is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.🙌

My brother has been in three different rehab facilities over the last five years, including the Savoy, and the Savoy is by far the best. The staff is responsive and professional, they do their jobs with compassion. Thank you Savoy for taking care of my brother.

I recently spent time at The Savoy after my surgery. I am thrilled that my doctor chose this location for my rehab. The physical therapists got my strength back and enabled me to return home with the confidence I needed to resume my life. The care I received from the staff was excellent and I highly recommend this facility. The staff, from the people that clean to the nurses exemplifies just how caring and competent everyone was. Even the kitchen staff went out of their way to make sure i received 3 meals each day since I don't eat meat. I always received my medication on time every day enabling me to deal with the pain I felt. I am going to also write to the administrator praising everyone that helped my recovery since I believe they each deserve individual praise for their care. I can't say enough praising this facility!

Dear Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation Team, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the nursing staff for their exceptional care and kindness. Your dedication and compassion are truly appreciated. I also extend my thanks to the Certified Nursing Assistants for ensuring my mother's comfort, and to the Physical Therapy team for their support. A special thank you to Yolderline for her outstanding attentiveness and kindness. Regarding admin processes, I'd appreciate faster responses to patient/family questions. We had delays getting updates on my mom's stay and transition. I'm still waiting on physical therapist aides - tomorrow's been a week without therapy 😬. Physical therapy is crucial post-surgery! Overall, Savoy has a talented and caring team. I hope these suggestions contribute to ongoing improvements. Sincerely, Oluwaseun Odusile Patient daughter

Savoy at Fort Lauderdale provided outstanding care for my 90-year-old mother during her four-week stay following leg surgery. We traveled from Massachusetts. From the very beginning after my mom's surgery, the entire process was handled with professionalism, transparency, and genuine compassion. I would especially like to recognize Shelly, the coordinator, who patiently and skillfully handled our insurance matters. Our insurance company often gave conflicting instructions from different representatives, and Shelly worked through each issue carefully and persistently. Her dedication and calm communication with the insurance greatly reduced our stress during an already challenging time. Everyone we interacted with, including nurses, aides, admissions staff, physical therapists, and management, was highly skilled, attentive, and truly caring. My mother received excellent daily care and made steady, noticeable improvements almost every day. Thanks to the professionalism and encouragement of the rehabilitation team, after just about four weeks she became strong enough to safely travel by airplane and return home. What impressed us most was the staff’s responsiveness and proactive approach. When I had questions and concerns about painkiller medications, the nursing director immediately invited me to join their morning staff meeting so I could directly express my concerns and fully understand the care plan. They listened carefully and promptly provided professional options to resolve the issue, which showed a high level of respect, coordination, and patient centered care. The facility itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Sheets and bedding were changed not only daily, but also immediately whenever there was a need. We were particularly impressed that there were absolutely no odors anywhere in the facility, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards and attention to detail. Throughout our stay, the staff not only responded to issues quickly and effectively, but also proactively managed daily care with great attention to detail. We truly felt that my mother was in capable and compassionate hands at all times. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional service provided by Savoy at Fort Lauderdale, from management to every individual staff member. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking high-quality rehabilitation and nursing care, excellent communication, and genuine care for their loved ones.
