Do not send your loved ones here, it’s better you make the extra hour drive to Mitchell to receive better healthcare. The staff here are very prejudice against the Native Americans that come through. Sanford chamberlain needs a better and professional person to answer their calls. I called to the hospital to check in my mother and the Lady that answered the phone had an ugly tone in her voice like she already knew who who the call was in regards to, so when I asked for the ER she said “ sure” like it was a problem for me to call and be concerned about my mother. The ER provider answered and was more respectful, although I was upset from how the First Lady answered the phone I was just kind of upset ER provider wouldn’t tell me how my mother is doing and is making me wait for my mother to call me herself.<br>Remember your phone calls are recorded!

This is the only hospital with is 60 miles of our small town and is known for their lack of care and hospitality for all their patients. I called the hospital on my way in 30 min away and let them know what happened and we were on our way with my 8 year old som who Clearly has a broken wrist, after an hour and half of sitting he was given ibuprofen for his pain, after he was taken into do X-rays. It is now 1 hour and 45 min into our visit .

a month ago I had to rush my wife here because she couldn't stand sit up and talk clearly they did a CT and said she's OK and released here. the next day she wasn't any better so went to another hospital where they found out she suffered a stroke and because this hospital didn't do the proper test and treat here it probably caused permanent damage and she will probably have to use a walker for the rest of her life. as soon as we find a attorney we will be filling charges for malpractice
