My mom was admitted to this facility Sept 2024; my first impression to say the least I was very reluctant based on the exterior of the facility being old not best amenities; as well as the residents the roam around not cognitive that are unstable. My experience is that the CNA and Activities staff as well as the Social Worker And DON and few others have definitely being attending to the needs of my mothers care. There was some issues of course but each time; they have implement strategies to ensure her safety and patient care needs are meet. So I want to thank All the staff including Therapist PT, OT, as well for providing essential patient care for my mom. Working in this field can be very challenging and stressful and I appreciated what you do so thanks again. Residents Daughter Lisa

My mom has been a resident at San Marino for over 2 years. This is a well managed and staff facility. Each time a visit I am met with smiles. My mom has never been so alert, clean and emotionally supported. I have experienced multiple facilities and hands down this the best. Of course we have met challenges and road blocks…all have been resolved professionally.

My son has been in several mental health facilities. San Marino Manor may not be as updated as some of the other facilities. It's better, in so many other ways that are so much more important then the decor. Staff is warm friendly. They have away of making you feel so welcome. Instantly youll feel like part of their family. Far as I see their great with all the residents I visit my son once a week. My son,in the past would constantly ask me when hed be coming home.. At San Marino he has told me several times . Mom I want to stay here I don't want to go anywhere. I'm still looking for a new place for both of us. Hopefully he will stay with me. But if he doesn't. I Hope there will be a room for him back at San Marino. I must also mention they keep you updated constantly. Other places not so much . Manuel started going into Mental facilities when he was 19yrs old. He's spent most of his life in facilities .I brought him home about 5/6yrs.ago. He was being mistreated changing his meds, nit keeping me posted. ect. Manuel is 47yrs old now . I lost my younger son he was killed. It's been so hard on both ofus. Manuel kept taking off missing for days at a time. .He has been in San Marino, maybe 5mos.6 mos. 2 different places before that for a week or 2 at both places. Since hes been in San Marino Manor, Manuel is so much better. I know it's because of San Marino Manors Doctors Counselors and staff. SAN MARINO I Thank You,so much from the bottom of my heart You have also helped me. I know my Son is safe!! you are all so awesome!! .
