I went to visit a friend, for the first time and was impressed by the way he was taken care of. It was clean and cheerful when we arrived, and there was no smell of urine , which sadly is all to common in many homes. I would give it 4 stars only for what I observed in the short time I was there.

would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting their loved ones to a place like Ruleme Center. If you truly care about your family member who suffers from Alzheimer’s, this is not the place for them. The level of care and professionalism here is extremely disappointing. The staff does not seem properly trained or prepared to handle patients with Alzheimer’s. There is a clear lack of attention, compassion, and responsibility. Basic needs such as hygiene and personal care are often neglected, which is unacceptable for individuals who depend entirely on others for their well-being. Leaving someone here feels more like abandoning them than ensuring they receive proper care. No family should have to worry about whether their loved one is being treated with dignity and respect, but unfortunately, that is the reality in this place. I would not recommend this center to anyone who values the safety, health, and dignity of their loved ones.…

This is the worst dementia care center I have ever experienced. The level of neglect is unacceptable. Staff spend more time on their phones than caring for patients. Residents are not properly cleaned and can go days without basic hygiene. Medications are not given as prescribed, putting lives at risk. There is also serious disorganization — my mother’s clothes were given to other residents, and she was dressed in clothing that did not belong to her. Communication is terrible; calls go unanswered and families are left without information. On top of everything, my mother’s belongings were stolen or went missing, including new shoes, and no one provided any explanation or took responsibility. If you truly care about your loved ones, do NOT bring them here. This is the last place you should ever trust with someone you love...

We have been very pleased with Ruleme. Our mother has shown improvement in her cognition and physical strength since arriving. The staff keeps us well updated and reviews her health plan regularly. Thanks staff for all you do! -Ron, David & Donna
