My parents have been there for 2 yrs. Things have only gone downhill. The meat & vegetables are overcooked, so not eaten. I've joined them for a meal, not edible. This takes it's toll, especially on the elderly. The bus doesn't go over 35 mph, so only local transportation. The company contracted to take them to city appointments is not reliable. Staff overworked but nice. One of the elderly residents takes care of gardens. He enjoys this, but if he can't, it's not done. It's a shame, such a beautiful location.

Maybe my review will get the attention of the owners of Rock Cove owners…the staff are wonderful and kind, yet they are over worked as there are not enough staff members. The meals are poor and poor quality! Menus are done, but menu changes as cook desires! They ask residence to fill out what they would like to eat from the choices, but not sure why they are asked to fill out a menu when they don’t get what they requested. food is often overcooked and tough for residence to eat with dentures and hard to digest. They do not adhere to patients needs for proper nutrition! My parent was found to be low on nutrients when going to the doctor. They used to be served better meals. They also used to have more activities there seem to have many cutbacks over the last couple of years. Facility needs to be updated. The chairs in the dining area are no longer supportive and very broken down. Many of the residents are sitting on cushions.<br>Consider other options!

Rock Cove is a great place for loved ones to live. One of my family members has lived there for over 5 years. She loves the facility and the staff. The staff are welcoming, caring, and genuine. There isn't a better place.
