I have lived here for nearly 6 years and can attest to the fact that the Independent Living Wing is the best place for me at this stage in my life. My apartment is decorated much like the home I lived in for 50 years. When the time comes that you no longer want to care for a home and yard there are several apartment sizes to choose from. The staff is wonderful and caring. The food is well prepared and served (breakfast and noon dinner).<br>A complete kitchen for light cooking is provided and a Washer/Dryer if needed. Activities are available and socializing is encouraged. However the independence to have my own car in an attached garage is very nice. I have made friends here but have the advantage of inviting friends in also. There is a meeting room available for large gatherings and guest facilities to reserve if you have overnight visitors. Housekeeping is available and maintenance provided. It is good to transition to Independent Living but knowing you can transfer to Assisted Living if it becomes necessary. There is also a Memory Care wing available.

The residents at Riverside are a true family and always ready to help and support each other. We have researched other facilities in GI and other towns. Riverside is the best facility economically and financially sound.<br>The staff are always ready to assist and remain professional.
