I went to visit my sister here and I was absolutely disgusted with the place that lives it looks like they operate on a shoestring budget they don't have the patience there on therapeutic diet so no matter if you're diabetic or have high blood pressure or whatever you get the same food everybody else does in the same amount and my sister has diabetes and as far as I could tell them they're basically killing her she eats sugar all the time her blood sugars run over 300 almost daily and when I asked about this why she wasn't on a special diet I was told that the federal government made a new law that everybody in a nursing home gets the same food and they can't be denied anything well here's what I have to say about that to the federal government you just want these people to die faster so you don't have to pay for him and take care of them. And nobody really gives a damn there my sister said nobody cares she'll tell him that she's feeling sick and they ignore her I don't think she hardly ever sees a doctor and she has a lot of health problems and she needs to see a doctor and she needs to be taking better care of I don't understand what has happened to these nursing homes anymore I worked in one a long time ago and the people that resided there received quality Care they were on therapeutic diets they got to see doctors things sure have changed for the worst

River Ridge Nursing Home provided wonderful service to my grandma during her stay. I am especially thankful for the occupational therapist, Chassidy, who created a tailored treatment plan that greatly accelerated my grandma's progress. Thanks to Chassidy's expertise and the supportive environment you all fostered, my grandma was able to return home in just a few weeks. Your hard work and kindness will always be remembered and appreciated by our family. 🥰

This place is a joke and needs to be shut down. Nurses need to lose their license. My grandma was there for 24 hours and had to be rushed back to the hospital by ambulance straight back to the ER. and is currently in the ICU AGAIN. They put a pediatric cannula on her! She’s end stage COPD. Left her in her own feces four hours. Gave her a breathing treatment and left her mask on for 45 minutes. as she was calling out for help during the night her nurse shut her door. They left my grandad in the floor for well over a hour when he fell during the night AFTER he pressed the call button multiple times. Also the place is disgusting from the carpets to the walls. They do not bathe a their patients regularly, nor do they change their bedding. they will not take care of your loved ones!! Zero stars***

Go take a look for yourself at this place before you ever put your loved one in here. Disgusting place. The staff we dealt with were too busy making excuses for their neglect. Less than 24 hours there and my MIL had to be taken AMA to the ER. They do not have the equipment to take care of the patients they accept also. Halls cluttered, smelly, dirty walls, inadequate a/c. The only reason I am giving this place one star is to give a review. I could go on and on. Shame on the admin of this place. Your patients deserve better.
