Ridgeview Post Acute is a special nursing facility primarily dedicated to elderly patients with cognitive issues like demention. About 17% are patients with short term medical issues who will be treated and released. The staff is skilled and as friendly as possible to the patients. Forcus is on safety and respect. The dietary focus is on well balanced meals that are as tasty as possible. My ex was at this location when it was called Ridgeview Manor under different management and the two different companies are like night and day.

The facility was clean and easy to navigate. Every staff person I came in contact with was attentive and friendly. We even shared stories. It was a pleasant visit and I feel confident that my cousin is being well taken care of . Thank you all so much!

Ridgeview was one of the older buildings that we considered for my mother and I was very impressed with the kindness from the staff and though the building was older, you could tell that they provided great care. Mom wanted to be closer to home, but if she hadn't have found placement closer, I would have been happy to place her here. They were so kind and accommodating when we toured.

Please carefully consider your options before placing a loved one at this facility. Our experience was very disappointing. Especially after the hospital recommend this place. The building is outdated and poorly maintained. It feels very unsanitary. It has a very strong smell and lacks proper ventilation. some areas feel musty and humid. The smell was so overwhelming at times that my grandmother struggled to eat because it made her feel sick. The overall atmosphere also felt very depressing, which is especially discouraging for patients trying to recover. We ultimately chose to transfer her to another facility because we did not feel confident in the environment or level of care being provided. The place where she is at now is WAY better.

My family currently has a loved one at this facility, and we are extremely disappointed and concerned with the level of care and cleanliness. The building consistently smells strongly of urine and poor ventilation. It feels unsanitary and looks like common areas and resident rooms are not cleaned regularly or at all. Every visit raises concerns about hygiene and infection control. More troubling is the level of basic care. We frequently have to ask staff multiple times for simple but essential needs to be met, including changing my grandmother’s diaper and ensuring she receives her medications on time. These are not occasional oversights — this has been a repeated issue that has caused our family a great deal of stress and worry. Families should not have to advocate this hard for fundamental care. When someone is placed in a nursing facility, you trust that they will be treated with dignity, cleanliness, and proper medical attention. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here. I strongly urge management to address sanitation, staffing responsiveness, and overall resident care. Families are trusting you with people they love. Right now, this facility is not meeting that responsibility. Safe to say, a transfer will be in place.
