My Mom never wanted to be placed in an Assisted Living facility, so it was very difficult when we had to make the decision to do just that. Mom has Alzheimer's and needed a place that truly CARED for their residents and Regal Estates fit the bill. From the moment we walked in to Regal Estates, we felt warmth, kindness and caring of all the staff members. When we initially toured the facility everyone from the Director to the cleaning staff stopped and welcomed Mom. It felt sincere and we knew that our Mom would be taken care of as well as we did. It was difficult to leave her there, but knowing that the all of the staff members and nursing staff loved their jobs made it so much easier. The facility is lovely and the rooms are larger than most of the other Assisted Living facilities that we toured. The rooms were very nice and the dining room, rec. room etc.....were great as well. Mom said that she could see herself there. She has been living there for around three years and we have had no complaints. Thank you to all the staff who work there!! You are so appreciated.

My parents lived in this facility after my dad had a stroke until he passed last month. The caregivers were so loving and caring. My dad really loved his caregivers, and they loved him. The faculty and staff is very friendly and helpful. It has been remodeled, and the rooms are all very nice.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Regal Estates of League City. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that defines this community. Vikki is an absolutely amazing Executive Director who truly leads with heart. Her dedication to the residents, families, and staff is evident in everything she does. She is present, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels heard and supported. Shauna is also incredibly helpful, especially during the move-in process. She makes what can often feel overwhelming into a smooth and reassuring experience. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and kindness make families feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. If you are looking for a caring, well-managed senior living community in the League City area, Regal Estates is a fantastic choice. The leadership, staff, and overall atmosphere truly set it apart.

⚠️ Be Careful Placing Your Loved One Here ⚠️ My grandmother lived at this facility starting in 2022, and over the years we dealt with multiple management companies. At first, everything seemed fine, but it quickly went downhill. She had a severe roach infestation in her apartment that went unresolved for months despite me calling repeatedly. I eventually had to contact the State of Texas twice before the issue was finally addressed. We were also wrongfully charged $250 per month because my grandmother used her own pharmacy. Management told us we were required to use their pharmacy or pay a penalty. After contacting the State of Texas, we learned this was illegal, and the facility was forced to refund $4,700 plus dollars, for all the months they charged her that fee. When she first moved in, we signed a contract for $3,000 per month all-inclusive, covering utilities, food, housekeeping, laundry, and care. Over time, her health improved significantly and she became much more independent—yet her rent and care fees increased, even though her level of care clearly decreased. They also began adding miscellaneous charges, such as: $35/month for an emergency call button $10 per meal if she stayed in her room while sick to avoid spreading illness These fees added up quickly and felt like constant nickel-and-diming. More concerning, my grandmother fell multiple times and was assaulted by another resident, and I was never notified. That alone was unacceptable. When I provided proper 30-day written notice and moved her out, they charged nearly $1,000 for a “level of care” fee that was never part of our original agreement. When I tried to resolve this with management (specifically Vicky), I was met with complete indifference—no empathy, no willingness to listen, and no accountability. I was passed around between staff members and told the original contract was “no longer valid,” even though we never signed a new one. We moved my grandmother to Brookdale, where she now pays $2,000 per month, receives better care, has excellent food, and is genuinely happy and safe. This facility operates like a business first and a care home last. Based on our experience, I strongly advise against placing your loved one here. You may not see the issues right away—but over time, you will.

The Regal Estates has and is a great place for my mom. She was very skeptical of assisted living, but after her last hospital visit her and the family agreed to give it a try. She has really enjoyed it and has made friends. The real treat we have found with assisted living is the individual people. Our blessing was Jose Martinez. I live over 5 hours away. Jose went out of his way to get my mom's doctors orders, papers signed, get her wheel chair, send me pictures and videos of her progress, and more. He has been a tremendous help and really made the place shine with the other staff, head nurse, and Brook a PT onsite specialist. Thank you Jose and staff for helping take care of my mom. I don't know what I would do with out you. Thank you Jose for all the extra work you have done with paperwork, doctors, and appointments, you are the real deal! Best, Gary
