Our warm, friendly community offers residential living in the heart of Escondido. Whether you prefer one of our independent living apartments or want more privacy and space with one of our cottages or you opt for an off-campus single-family home with a full kitchen, garage and yard, we’ll take care of all maintenance, housekeeping, repairs and lawn maintenance.
As a Life Plan Community (also known as a continuing care retirement community or CCRC) resident, you’ll have priority access to advanced care services if and when the need arises. We also offer home health care services should you need assistance in the comfort of home.
Assisted Living
Help with tasks of daily living, as needed, allows residents to continue to enjoy maximum independence and our life-enriching services and amenities.
Personalized assisted living at Redwood Terrace helps those who need extra support with activities of daily living. Assisted living is available to our residents and to non-residents through direct admission. We work with assisted living residents to customize a daily schedule based on individual lifestyles and preferences.
Assisted living features a comfortable and vibrant environment, private residences with a full bath, and access to all our community services and amenities, in addition to the following supportive services:

Skilled Nursing
Licensed long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehab services are available, if ever needed, on site in a bright, comfortable environment from highly trained, friendly professionals.

Our innovative program takes a highly personalized approach to help residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia live positive, purpose-driven lives.
Redwood Terrace offers an uplifting, person-centered approach to dementia care that honors residents’ individuality in a safe, homelike setting. Our community provides a comforting physical setting that mimics a family home and programming developed around in-depth knowledge of each resident to ensure that activities are meaningful and improve quality of life every day.
Residents share a spacious home comprising 11 apartments, a dining room and open kitchen, two common rooms and an expansive outdoor patio. The open-concept layout is designed to foster community living and engagement. Specially trained team members get to know each resident’s family, history, likes and dislikes to customize a personalized care plan to ensure the promotion of self-esteem and encourage maximum independence.
Admission to our memory care community is available to residents of Redwood Terrace and to non-residents through direct admission.

Short-Term Rehabilitation Services
We offer personalized care plans for short-term rehabilitation services for our residents and non-residents through direct admission. We specialize in rehabilitation plans that accelerate recovery for older adults so you can get back to your routine quickly and confidently.

Our expert medical staff and caregivers have extensive experience working with residents and their loved ones to create compassionate, personalized care plans if long-term skilled nursing care is needed.
