Redwood Grove Post Acute truly feels like a home away from home. In so many facilities, although you can see the high level of clinical care, it still manages to feel homey. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the staff treats the residents like their own family. I recently hosted a lunch for the faculty and staff, and I was completely blown away by their dedication. Every single caretaker knew the exact dietary restrictions and food limitations of the residents they were helping. They didn't need to check charts or look up notes; they just genuinely knew them. Finding a place where the staff is this deeply involved, attentive, and personally knowledgeable is incredibly rare nowadays. They treat everyone with such dignity, love, and familial care. I cannot recommend this facility enough

My father recently was at Redwood Grove for 10 days, following a hospitalization for medical issues. The staff was fantastic, including all of his rehabilitation therapists, nurses, and nurse assistants. We especially appreciated the help of Cierra, Sabrina, Christy, Jen, and everyone’s humor and positive attitude. Redwood Grove is clean and the overall demeanor of all staff we encountered was helpful and understanding. This is no doubt the best short term SNF in Santa Cruz County.

Our family has had a really positive experience at this facility. The nurses and CNAs are attentive, patient, and treat residents with dignity. The building is clean, organized, and you can tell the staff works hard to keep things running smoothly. Communication has been consistent, and whenever we’ve had questions, someone has taken the time to explain things clearly. The therapy team has also been wonderful. They’re encouraging, realistic, and truly focused on helping residents regain strength and independence. We’ve seen steady progress, and that’s meant a lot to our family. We’ve had good interactions with Nurse Xavier as well; he’s kind, professional, and always approachable. Overall, we’re grateful for the care and support our loved one receives here.
