Our mom was at Prelude for 3 1/2 years. When she moved in she was mobile and didn’t require very much physical care but during her last year she needed a lot of care, she received very good care. I feel most of the staff have a genuine heart to be there, so many kind caregivers, it’s not an easy job.<br><br>The administration is amazing to work with, from Angie helping us move in, Pastor Steve meeting spiritual needs and helping with more than spiritual needs, like moving furniture. Valerie planning activities, Carrie making yummy meals. What I really appreciated was when I did have a concern they listened and were quick to address the issue.<br><br>A smaller quiet community was what mom needed and the cottage was perfect for her. She loved the outdoor patio space and to help tend the flowers. Prelude was a great fit for mom and our family. We always felt very welcome, thank you for taking such wonderful care of our mom.

If I can give a zero star I would, if you voice your concern the care givers would put my call on the block list so i wont be able to call my love one. This place is sad & i mean just that!<br><br>Update: I took my dad out of this facility as of 9/26/2024 & they were so miserable that the new facility contacted them & they told them something So the new facility were skeptical of accepting him. It’s really important to read these reviews and take heed when you see them. The care giver’s don’t do their job & neither does the nurse or the coordinator, when I tell you to run from this place I mean just that!!!!!!

My mother has been at Prelude Homes in Woodbury for over a year now. Since she has been there she has been thriving! She especially enjoys Pastor Steve and his church services and singing as well as the many activities that Valerie provides. When we were searching for a place for our mother, we had such excellent service from Angie and she really helped us understand their mission and values! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about all the staff from maintenance to the great chef to the nursing staff and administration. I highly recommend Prelude Homes for anyone that has a loved one in need of memory care!
