My brother was placed in this facility for rehab and skilled nursing assistance. Well, he got neither. They did not treat him fairly, did not assist him properly as a patient. He is a chronic diabetic, has high blood pressure issues, and heart problems. After a brief visit we discovered that they had neglected to give him any of his prescribed medicines for 7 whole days. Had we not been consistent in checking on him, he would have died. They did have an excuse that doesn’t make any sense for any medical institution. Thank God we got him moved. Please check on your love ones if they are in this horrible facility. Pinewood Manor, shame on you for your carelessness when we entrust our families into your hands only to be neglected! I really give you zero star!

I am repeatedly treated with absolute disrespect when I call this facility. This fact causes me concern about the treatment of patients especially because (a) many patients are developmentally disabled and therefore likely unable to articulate conditions and treatment and, (b) no one can physically check on the patients because of Covid regulations. Given these two factors alone, the facility should be doing all they can to assure family members that all is well. That is not the case. For example: (1) I have called and asked staff/admin to please call me back, which they have not. (2) I have remained on the phone following a conversation with my family member and listened as they ignore her calling for assistance. (3) I have called the facility to speak to my family member and been told they would have them call back later -- which rarely happens. (4) Today I called and the staff member who answered the phone left me on hold for 44 minutes. I would prefer to think they were dealing with an emergency--but experience tells me otherwise. I have tried to be understanding because this is not an easy job, but now I am feeling frustrated and concerned about what is going on. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Despite the fear previous reviews instilled (2 from 3 years ago and 1 from 6 months), I trusted God's divine plan in placing our brother here rather than closer to home in Ft. Valley. Such fear was QUICKLY erased the minute we stepped in the door! Director Wilma Hanna (of 35-year tenure) made the transition from the previous facility to Pinewood Manor smooth and comforting; she facilitated our need for hospice when that became apparent with no delay whatsoever and checked in on us during the last days. Male nurses Eddie and Mack were not only attentive, gentle, considerate, but also compassionate in their treatment of our loved one along with ministrations from Sylvia and Barbara... The upkeep and cleanliness of this facility is superb to the eye and nose. I want to add that small towns like the one where I live in Monticello, GA, take pride in their nursing homes because they are caring for those loved by their family and friends of the community. I recommend this facility unreservedly to any who are in particular need, confident in knowing that should my or other family members' needs ever require such attention, we will be well cared for by this loving staff.

This place should not be allowed to house or have options to rehab anyone. Between the lack of knowledge and lack professionalism. I feel sorry for the patients who doesn't have a choice but to be there. I removed my family member for her health safe and requested another center.I've also filed a case with state, BBB, Medicare/Medicad and the police department. I hope they investigate every wanna be nurse/CNA who just passed the test but lack the fulfilled knowledge and compassion for those patients there. Also there is no hot water in the rooms, imagine your love one get washed or refresh with cold water only. Even the police officer stated to report them state. And if the so call Administrator replies to review, you sir should just retire and find another calling for your knowledge. Something like a cow manure inspector.

I wish my Mom had other options for a Nursing Home in Hawkinsville and still see my Dad on a daily basis. This Facility is run by the Hawkinsville Hospital and the staff is of poor quality. Administrators fail to recognize this is a residents home. One would have thought when the Hospital took over this place it would have improved, but it didn't. It's worse now than it was prior to takeover. Hawkinsville Hospital, build a new facility next to the Hospital that is up to date , a pleasant place to live, and a quality staff.
