If I could give more stars, I certainly would. We were needing a place for my dad ASAP. I called Dane at Piner's and he meet with my brother and I the same day. We felt Piner's Guest Home would be a good fit for my father and boy was it. My dad needed a smaller environment, didn't need to be fancy but clean and able to attend to his needs. (It is a bit dated) We moved his things in the next day and he moved in the day after. The staff at the guest home was excellent. He loved the food and wonderful care. We knew going in it was a temporary stay while he recovered from 6 broken ribs and as punctured lung. He worked hard and made great progress returning to his home after a little over three months. There were tears by him when he left Piner's. It was bittersweet. He had grown very close to staff and other residents. But his desire to go back to his home was stronger. He goes back to visit staff and residents and has nothing but praise for everyone there as do my brother and I. Our dad has told us if he ever needs to move out permanently from his home he wants to go back to Piner's Guest home. All this great care and on top of it Piner's was more reasonable than other places. We found a real gem and are very grateful for the care and attention he was given along with the friendships he made. They called him the captain. With great appreciation, Lori
